Recreational freedom. How about in Scotland?
I think it’s safe to say that any enthusiast of any outdoor sport isn’t content with remaining in one location forever. Whether you bike, backpack, canoe, etc etc… there’s always someplace new to explore. The problems, generally speaking, are logistically getting “there,” and finding the time to do so. Many of us (myself included) live busy lives and can easily feel like we simply don’t have the freedom to enjoy the world in the capacity that we can only dream about. I suppose the issue is our difficulty in identifying the balance between commitments/constraints of work, finances, households, etc vs. what we desire to do based on an internal tug at our heart strings.

Granted, the video above portrays an experience that was likely possible due to corporate sponsorship & a few guys who have made a name for themselves by having much-better-than-average skill, but regardless… there’s something inside that makes me crave more experiences that our world has to offer.

Kinda makes you want to live a little more, no?
